FastLabel Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeshi Suzuki; hereinafter “FastLabel”), a company supporting the development of robot foundation models and domain-specific Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, is pleased to announce that it has joined the Robotics Society of Japan (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Tetsuya Kubota; hereinafter the “Society”). FastLabel will also exhibit its robotics equipment at RSJ2026 (The 44th Annual Conference of the Robotics Society of Japan), to be held from Tuesday, September 1 to Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Natural Science and Technology Main Hall on Kanazawa University’s Kakuma Campus. Background to Joining the Society FastLabel has promoted the social implementation of Physical AI through supporting the development of data infrastructure and models in the AI robotics field. Through providing support to many customers, we believe that closer collaboration between academia and industry will become increasingly important for the further advancement of Physical AI. Since its establishment in 1983, the Robotics Society of Japan has undertaken a wide range of activities aimed at advancing robotics research and disseminating knowledge in the field. These activities include organizing academic conferences, publishing academic journals, and promoting collaboration between academia and industry. FastLabel supports the Society’s mission and initiatives and has therefore decided to join the society. FastLabel is also working to expand the pool of engineers engaged in Physical AI research and development through initiatives such as the release of OpenLUTRA, an open-source application designed to streamline the collection and analysis of robot learning data. Exhibition Details FastLabel will exhibit its robotics equipment at its booth for three days, from Wednesday, September 2 to Friday, September 4, 2026. At the FastLabel booth, visitors will be able to view a semi-humanoid robot and see a demonstration of OpenLUTRA, an open-source application that supports the collection of reliable robot learning data. OpenLUTRA features system monitoring, automated data quality validation, and other capabilities that improve the quality of collected data and enable flexible data management. At the booth, FastLabel will demonstrate the end-to-end data collection process, seamlessly connecting physical robots to the cloud. We invite all visitors to stop by the FastLabel booth. 【RSJ2026 (The 44th Annual Conference of the Robotics Society of Japan) — Exhibition Overview】 Organizer: The Robotics Society of Japan Dates: Tuesday, September 1–Friday, September 4, 2026 Venue: Natural Science and Technology Main Hall, Kakuma Campus, Kanazawa University For more details: https://ac.rsj-web.org/2026/ About FastLabel FastLabel Inc. is a data solutions company dedicated to supporting Data-Centric AI development by providing high-quality data and building data pipelines and data management infrastructure.
